A panel discussion presented by the International WaterCentre
Achieving water security is fundamental to all sectors of our economy, to the ecosystems in which communities are embedded and to our individual and social health and well-being. But as our populations grow, our climates continue to change and our cities expand, the difficulty in navigating the challenges and potential trade-offs involved in achieving water security for drinking, for agriculture, for energy, for ecosystem health and for cultural and community purposes are growing.
Join Associate Professor Brian McIntosh, Education Director for Griffith’s International WaterCentre as he leads a panel discussion on the challenges to achieving water security and how we might meet them. The event will examine challenges and strategies broadly then focus on the role of professional learning as a way to build knowledge, skills and ultimately the capacity to respond.
